Slatemont Community Outreach

The Slatemont Property Owners' Association (SPOA) believes in giving back to our community.  For this reason, SPOA established a community outreach program, originally known as "Slatemont Santa".

Each year, during the Christmas holiday season as well as year-round, SPOA sponsors families in Meadows of Dan and surrounding areas.  SPOA provides gifts in the form of money, clothing, assistance with utility bills, and other much needed items. SPOA Outreach has also made significant contributions to school lunch deficits at Meadows of Dan Elementary school, ensuring no child goes hungry at school.

Since its inception in 2007, SPOA's Community Outreach Program has given over $16,000 in gifts to families and local institutions.
